With over 15 years of consulting experience in business strategies and Human Resources fields such as labor law, compensation and training, Ms. Monge specializes in Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Laws and Regulations and OFCCP Audit Support. Affirmative Consulting Group provides Affirmative Action consulting services to federal contractors and subcontractors throughout Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and recently to Spanish speaking Human Resources and Management Teams in the United States. The company’s mission is to help clients comply and make them ready for auditing at all times. Following this approach, Affirmative Consulting Group has a perfect record of OFCCP compliance reviews’ positive outcomes. Ms. Monge created Affirmative Consulting Group with the vision of implementing a lean approach to business: “all our products and processes must add value to our clients”. Her vision is to make sure that clients receive the most valuable consulting services at the best prices of the market.
Ms. Monge has a proven record of training and public speaking. She has been invited as a guest speaker in many professional events such as the SHRM Puerto Rico Annual Conference, SHRM Puerto Rico Round Tables, National Leadership Congresses, and International Forums in Germany, South and Central America. She has provided seminars and workshops on the following topics: Affirmative Action and EEO, I-9 Form and E-Verify Compliance, Gender Based Compensation Audits, Sexual Harassment, The Impact of Domestic Violence in the Workplace, Time and Project Management, Effective Communication, Diversity in the Workplace, Effective Presentation Techniques, among others.
She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, specialized in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. She also attended North Carolina State University's School of Business as part of the National Student Exchange Program during her college years. Prior to the Human Resources fields, Ms. Monge was a Marketing Research Specialist and a Small Business Consultant at Raleigh, North Carolina and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Ms. Monge is also committed to corporate social responsibility focusing on the educational development of children and young adults. From 2008 to 2014 she Presided the Board of Directors of Casita Montessori de Mayagüez, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides special Montessori-based education to children from 1 to 12 years of age. She is also an active Alumni of AIESEC, a nonprofit organization that provides an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential. She also provides volunteer entrepreneurial consulting services and coaching to non-profit organizations, business owners and university students.
